Dexter

Dexter

Microchipped, Neutered and Vaccinated

Baeutiful lad Dexter is looking for his forever home.

Dexter is very friendly and snuggly, he loves everyone. He is a very active Frenchie and loves his walks.

He does have severe separation anxiety, this resulting with him toileting in the house if left for more than 30 minutes. He would suit someone who is home most of the time and has the time to help him build up his confidence at being left.

Although Dexter adores children he will become over excited and mouthy when the kids are excited themselves, so would definitely benefit from being around older children or an adult only home.

Dexter is very food motivated and a complete mooch. He does have many food allergies so his new family will need to be eagle eyed with dropped food and committed to not feeding him scraps etc.

He loves other dogs although he can play too rough which then leads to other dogs not liking him. He has lived with cats previously and respects their boundaries. He loves car journeys and going on adventures with his people.

Dexter will require an operation on his left back leg in the near future as his existing metalwork is nearing its end. Whether this is to replace the metal work or amputation that would be up to the new owner and their vet to decide what would be best for Dexter moving forward. As this is a pre-existing condition it is something DAWGS would be prepared to help with the cost towards.

If you feel you could offer Dexter the loving home he deserves please contact the office directly on 01224 208989 or click on “Request to adopt Dexter now”.
