Caleb

Caleb

Gorgeous lad Caleb is looking for a very special someone.

Caleb is a happy boy, he has a sweet quirky nature. As he has neurological issues, he’s a bit like a cheeky school boy.

His behaviour is driven by what’s going on with him. He’s really good at playing by himself but does like to play with his doggy friends.

He can be very suspicious of new things , people or dogs and scares easily. He will bark at these things. He loves to run and more often than not will run in clockwise circles.

He does have some resource guarding issues with food/ high value i.e bones, towards other dogs, but is intermittent with it.

He can find training stressful and will disengage completely.

Caleb has brain damage and may not see properly in one eye, he is not 100% stable on his feet, and his view of the world is different from other dogs due to brain damage.

He is also stunted in growth, being a lot smaller than he should be for his breed, he’s fed 3 x to keep weight on.

He has never been left on his own, he always has the company of other dogs. He steals stuff but waits until you are not in the room or your back is turned, he gives up easily enough. He does not chew.

He may look like he’s ‘normal’ but his behaviour can sometimes be a bit out there, but non aggressive, just quirky.

Toilet training is ongoing, he will ask to get out to have a bowel movement but to urinate, not quite there, he will go to the door and circle and if you’re not quick enough he will urinate whilst walking. He has to be let out numerous times before he will do something.
