Sam

Microchipped, Neutered and Vaccinated

Stunning, golden oldie, Sam is looking for his retirement home.

Sam is an affectionate boy who loves attention and company. He can be playful and cheeky, you would never believe he was 10!

Sam enjoys his walks, and would walk for miles although he does have arthritis so this has to be limited. He is good on the lead and has a fairly good recall. A large enclosed garden would be best suited.

We feel a home with adults would be beneficial. As he gets older he has become less tolerant and is can get startled when asleep and rudely awakened! He has lived with dogs in the past but we feel he would prefer to be the centre of attention, he has no experience with cats.

Sam loves a car journey and does enjoy an adventure and just generally being around his person.

Sam’s perfect home will be one where he gets plenty of attention and mental stimulation. He’s a loyal and loving companion and would love to play with a ball or frisbee all day. He is used to having his owner around and would benefit from someone around most of the day.

He is on Gabapentin daily and gets Librella injections for his arthritis.

If you feel you could offer Sam the loving home he deserves please contact the office directly on 01224 208989 or click on “Request to adopt Sam now”.
