Rohan
“We rehomed Rohan back in 2008 when he was a year and a half. He came to live with us in beautiful Ballogie and was soon joined by a little sister Willow (not a DAWGS dog, also a Border Collie).
Believe it or not we are still enjoying the company of Rohan, who was 16 in March!
During our fabulous years with Rohan we have travelled far and wide, spending a few years living in Northern Ireland, where he has enjoyed competing at Flyball and chasing balls on the beach. We also spent three years in Calgary, Canada. Couldn’t leave the fur babies behind!!
The last few years have been tough for Rohan. In April 2020 he had a stroke and we weren’t expecting him to be around for much longer (boy were we wrong!). Soon after that, Willow lost her fight with lymphoma and Rohan has been on his own ever since. Now in his twilight years his eyes and ears aren’t working so well, but he can hear the fridge open for the cheese for his pills alright!!
His walks are very short as his legs are a bit stiff, but he enjoys the sniffs along the way.
We’re enjoying every moment of our time left with Rohan. Who knows how long it will be! We thank DAWGS every day for our gorgeous boy.”
