An update On Our Saving Koda’s Sight Appeal

An update On Our Saving Koda’s Sight Appeal

Posted: October 6, 2017

Over the last few weeks we have been helping to raise funds to help Alford dog Koda get sight saving surgery. We are delighted that he now has a provisional date for his consultation – Tuesday the 17th of October. When he sees the consultant, if she is happy, she may operate that day. His Dad, David, wants to pass on his thanks to everyone who has supported the Appeal. Over £2000 has been raised or pledged already but £3000 is needed to cover the cost of the operations on both eyes. We are holding a Prize Draw at our Charity Shop in Alford on Saturday. All the local businesses have been so generous and donated lots of lovely prizes so pop in and get your ticket then. All the money raised will help with the cost of the operation. As a way to repay everyone’s kindness, David has taken it upon himself to do a small task for everyone who has supported the Appeal – our shop windows are now gleaming thanks to him! We wish Koda all the best for his consultation and operation and look forward to hearing some good news. You can still make a donation via the DAWGS Charity Shop in Alford or the office at 6 Small Holdings Lang Stracht Aberdeen. Good luck Koda – fingers and paws crossed!
