Alfie

Alfie

Microchipped, Neutered and Vaccinated

Beautiful pup Alfie is looking for his forever home.
Alfie is a happy boy and loves attention from his owner. He does have a little anxiety and needs help building his confidence.
He loves his walks and can walk for miles if given the opportunity. He is good on the lead but can pull. His recall is generally good but if he smells food or an animal he may go investigate.
Alfie loves to play and will chew on anything plastic.  He gets on well with other dogs so could live with another dog after a successful introduction.
He does get anxious with new environments or loud noises, this can cause him to be stressed. He is on medication for his anxiety and is currently working with a behaviourist to improve his issues.
He has got a history of snapping and growling, so he would need a child free environment to thrive. We are unsure whether the growling is his way of ‘talking’ but obviously has caused a lack of trust with his owners.
Alfie will need an experienced owner. Preferably someone with experience with resource guarding and unpredictable behaviour.
If you feel you could offer Alfie the perfect home and help him build his confidence please contact the office directly on 01224 208989 or click on “Request to adopt Alfie now”.
