Max

Microchipped, Neutered and Vaccinated

Gorgeous boy Max is looking for his forever person.

Max is a very friendly, loyal and loving dog.  He is still a young lad and has loads of potential.

He loves cuddles, loves attention. and loves giving kisses but can be a bit enthusiastic when meeting new people and does like to jump up for attention.

Max loves going for walks, especially off lead in the countryside. He’s spent time with other dogs and is very sociable and playful (on and off lead, different breeds and sizes), He does pull on the lead when excited. He has lived with another dog and we feel he could potentially share his space with another dog. A large enclosed garden would also be ideal.

He does have resource guarding behaviour around food. He will need further training to help overcome this. An owner who has experienced this kind of behaviour would be beneficial.

Max has lived with a young child but we feel due to his resource guarding, an adult only home or a home with older, dog savvy children would be ideal.  He has also lived with a cat previously who he got along well with.

He likes travelling in the car and is happy being left for short periods of time. He is crate trained and is happy being in his own space.

If you feel you could offer Max the loving home he deserves please contact the office directly on 01224 208989 or click on “Request to adopt Max now”.
