Handsome lad Shadow is looking for his forever home.

Shadow is a very loyal and loving dog. He can be timid to begin with as he has lived a fairly sheltered life but in less than 5 minutes he soon comes round and becomes your best friend.

Once he knows you he loves attention and he loves to play, the rougher the better! Tug o’ war being his favourite!

Shadow loves going for walks, especially off lead in the countryside. He’s not spent any time with other dogs so we are unsure of how his socialisation skills would be. He does pull on the lead when excited. 

He enjoys the sunshine and sunbathing in the garden. We feel a large enclosed garden in a semi rural area would suit him best.

Shadow has lived with children previously  but we feel due to his energy levels and his size, an adult only home or a home with older, dog savvy children would be ideal.  He has also lived with cats who he gets along well with.

He likes travelling in the car and is happy being left for around 6 hours. When left he is crated.

Shadow is very energetic and is still a young pup. He is eager to learn and would need an owner who is prepared to give him the time and training he needs to reach his full potential.  He is full of energy and could walk for miles but mental stimulation would also be beneficial.
