Buddy

Buddy

Microchipped, Neutered and Vaccinated

Beautiful boy Buddy is looking for his retirement home.

Buddy is a loving little dog in his own way as most terriers usually are. He likes to come to you for affection when he is ready and loves a cuddle on the sofa in the evenings.

He loves going out for walks but can be very barky when other dogs are around. He is kept on lead when other dogs or distractions are nearby but has good recall when no distractions. He can still comfortably walk for miles.

He doesn’t like strangers getting in his face or being picked up by his front legs. He also doesn’t like being examined at the vets and not a fan of being groomed. Distraction with a licki mat is key and keeping grooming time short.

Buddy is on constant guard when in the house, spending most of his time sat on the back of the sofa watching the world go by and reminding people he is there when they come past the house (its his street after all!) He is crate trained and can be left for up to 5 hours but would like someone who is around most of the time.

He would be best suited to only pet in household and he would enjoy the freedom of an enclosed garden to explore.

Buddy will go in the car but does shake and pant most of the journey. He has no experience of cats and would prefer an adult only home.

If you have the time and understanding to adopt this, maybe slightly grumpy, but also affectionate terrier please contact the office directly on 01224 208989 or click on “Request to adopt Buddy now”.

I will be happy to have a home. Are you sure I'm right for you?
